We made a Chocolate Cake for a party for Matt……..and I added Sprinkles.
Alice suggested adding a candle.
Sprinkles Are for Winners. It pays to be a winner.
We spent the day in Bentonville, Arkansas, at the Crystal Bridges Museum. The current exhibit, The State of the Art, features American Artists from almost every state. Our friend, Watie White, is featured from Nebraska. It was a thrill to go to the museum WITH him. Oh, and we met Alice Walton!
Before we built our house, I literally dreamed about it for 8 years. That was 15 years ago.
I’m starting to dream about houses again! Then I saw this post from the New York Times and my heart stopped. This was the kitchen I saw!
My Dream is so Big that I can’t verbalize it yet. It is not unreachable. Just big. I’m at a point in my life where my bucket of lists is almost empty. Putting new ideas in the bucket is scary!
More pictures of the project. This is a building in Portland, Oregon. These pictures are from EmerickArchitects
Long before I knew you could make Beef Stew from scratch, there was Dinty Moore. Beef, Gravy, Potatoes, Carrots…..and some other stuffs. 🙂 I’ve had this recipe since back in the AOL days and it has become my favorite.
Perfect for summer or winter…..but especially when winter snow is on the way!
I love the creaminess of barley in this soup along with the vegetables and beef simmering all afternoon in the homemade broth. Make plenty to freeze!
