Dan and our company, HunTel Communications, was honored last week as the Mid America Boy Scout Council’s Corporate Partner of the Year. Fred Hawkins of Hawkin’s Construction presented the award to Dan.

Honored at the June 24 luncheon were, from left, Dan Hunt, president of HunTel Communications, corporate partner of the year; Dan Altman, Creighton basketball coach and winner of the distinguished Eagle Scout award; and Tom Osborne, University of Nebraska-Lincoln athletic director and winner of the citizen of the year award.

Dan was interviewed by the media and she also spoke to the Eagle Scout.

Princess Lasertron was there, too.

I hope you and the farmer and those beautiful red head girls are having a great summer. Your David is the BEST and your daughters are wonderful. Let’s meet in the middle sometime this summer and have dinner.

Wednesday, I will pack up the dawg and trek up to TheHouseAtTheLake to hopefully finally move back in. My poor parents have missed HALF their lake summer due to our slow construction up there and they are very frustrated and bored.
I have to admit that I have LOVED having them here!!! I have laughed so much and had such a nice time with them. My folks and brother live in South Florida, so I’ve sort of been alone since I got married. They make many trips to visit each year, but none were as relaxed as these past weeks.

And besides.

My mom cooked dinner!!!
