I haven’t posted in a month. Sort of didn’t feel like it. Sort of did.
My frustration with Typepad really took the joy out of it. I didn’t document some things that were happening around here……and that’s the whole purpose of the blog.
Next up is the Eagle Ceremony next week! That’s a big celebration. And even MORE so because of the devastating news of the deaths at the Boy Scout Camp yesterday from the Tornado.
Dan and Matt went out to help. And they did.
Dan’s calming and authoritative voice was on every network from Omaha to Moscow to Abu Dabi and back. He’s been on the radio in Los Angeles. He’s on the cover of the World Herald. He spoke at the Prayer Vigil tonight. He’s a middle child. He’s a smoother. He’s a lifesaver.
My parents are here (yay!!!) and they are patiently waiting to go to their the HouseAtTheLake. We lead a very boring life and we are tired. They are just bored!!!
My mom has been ironing. Day and Night. And Cooking. And Cleaning.
I just bring her more hangars and wait for dinner.
I’m now 14 years old!!!
My Dad has been cleaning, sanding and staining my big outdoor chairs.
He’ll finish them this weekend and they’ll look SO great with cushions on them. Of course, I’ll leave the cushions on for only enough time to take a photo because of the prevailing 30 mile an hour winds around here….that seat cushion will become a kite!!!

Master Bedroom new closet. Note the Black Trim!!!! I’m so excited about it.
Next is electrical.
