Our high school does homecoming wrong.
They have no floats…..instead, they decorate windows downtown.
There aren’t any carmel apples.
They don’t announce King and Queen until Saturday night…..instead, they should be announced at the pep rally after the parade.
The have a dance on Saturday night….instead, the dance should be AFTER the football game!
They dress odd. They boys wear khakis and golf shirts and the girls wear prom dresses….instead, it should be one way or the other!

I agree. They do Homecoming WRONG! Maybe the King and Queen should be crowned at the half-time of the football game (as they did at my huge high school of 110). We wore our cheerleading uniforms to the dance, or sweater-set and cute pleated skirt if we were a queen candidate. By the way, I am the only girl from my high school that was a candidate for Homecoming Queen THREE times and never won!!! Always a bridesmaid….
