Snowed!

I don’t know how much longer our lights will be on. We used Brite Ideas lights this year and they looked MaGiCaL!!!  The LED lights are so bright and unique. Next season, more candy canes on the front of the house.
Maybe a bigger wreath on the back…..
Maybe more lights on the top of the house…..

My parents have been houseguests in my basement guest room for a while. My mom has been here a little longer than my dad. And I have LOVED having them here for an extended time.

Having them here longer means we don’t have to cram lots of hurry-up activities into a few days.
Having them here longer means we can sit around in our pajamasl all day if we want and drink coffee.
and laugh.
Having them here longer means we can watch "Dog the Bounty Hunter" together. and movies. and the news.
Having them here longer meant they were able to attend family events with us and our company party. They got to see a little of our life in action.

They are leaving today.
I know they want to get home.
But I’ll miss them.

….cause I’m always gonna be their little girl.

I love you mom and dad. Have a great trip home. Thanks for everything. And we’ll see you this summer!

Went on a girls night out with my Emily and her mom, Nancy.
Emily was picked to be on stage during a portion of the play tonight, Christmas Around The World.

She played the Dreidel Game onstage….and did a very good job!
She also had to do a Silly Dance!

Before the play, we went to Panera and tried a new item they have, a type of Pizza called Crispani.
I highly recommend it.
Emily had her usual……Broccoli Cheese Soup and Lemonade.

Such a fun night.
But we miss Kevin. I found out tonight
that he will be home
in
15
Sundays.

give me a great knife set
or a dishwasher
or a new iron
or ANYthing to make my job easier and better and more fun.

This year, I got a Dyson!

We’ve all had great fun vaccuuming up dog hair.
It’s actually quite disgusting.

….notice who DIDN’T vaccuum??????
