First Day of School.
Grade 11.

My parents spent alot of their summer at our house at Okoboji.

I think we all had a pretty good time.
It was fun having them around, and our house is big enough that nobody was in the way.
My mom cooked alot, which was GREAT!
And my dad puttered almost every day, fixing this and that.

It was a wonderful summer with them.

Learning lots about having a second home.
There’s the driving.

sometimes in bad weather.
And the expense. And being apart from my cute hubby and baby boy.
And then my home here, that doesn’t run by itself.
I’m not complaining.
Just learning.

But I’m glad they’ve got each other when I’m not here.
