Powerball
The Lottery
340 Million
What would you do?
What COULD you do!

I already know what I would do if I won that money tonight!
I’d build a Fine Arts Center in Blair. BIGGER and BETTER than the art-less Y.
It would be privately owned and managed.
It would be a place for parties and meetings and drama are art and messiness and fun.
I see a theater for Children’s plays and music and community drama.
I see an art area for learning and growing and reaching.
I see a part for meetings and parties…with a kitchen big enough for classes.

I would take some trips WITH my friends.
We’d go to New York City and see plays and eat wonderful food.
We’d go to Las Vegas and see Barry Manilow’s show.

I’d share it with my family.
And watch what THEY do with a little money to fufill THEIR dreams.

I’d give some to friends. To free up their minds from bills…if not just for a few months.

I don’t think I’d move.
But I might buy a summer home at Okoboji!
And I’d get a better car.
And I’d hire some help!!!

What a dream.

Img_8077This little witch is on my front door. This actually COULD happen because there is usually a 30 mile an hour wind hitting that door! Our view is straight to the north and I always say there is nothing between here and Santa’s house!

I like this witch because she has red hair!

I did more ironing today and watched a WAY funny movie. Fever Pitch.
I laughed out loud while I ironed!

Img_8064_1Such FUN letters! I love love love this "old fashioned" glitter look. I have the words Happy and my initial M….I bought these letters in Kansas City. They are hard to find!
I went to a board meeting today in downtown Omaha. It’s the Omaha Area Youth Orchestra. Megan was a meber for many years.
Mvc011f32This picture is of her probably in 8th grade. She’s no bigger than the Timpani! They Philharmonic is playing at the Westroads Mall. I remember this day really well.

This is one of my favorite photos of her. She is so small yet so commanding of her instrument.

I wish she still played……..

ANYWAY! The All-Orchestra concert this year will be at the new Holland Performing Arts Center in Omaha on Sunday, October 30. EVERYONE is very excited, to say the least!

Matt and Dan are going to a fly-in at Offut Air Force Base tomorrow morning. They are very excited, too.  I don’t think these fly-ins happen very often. Dan has specific instructions to follow and they both had to go through background checks. Wonder what they found!
Img_8052_editedSpeaking of Matt, did post this picture of him from last weekend?  He spent the day Sunday at an AirSoft event…..bunch of guys playing war games for fun. He had a BALL.
