heard it on the radio

….The newscaster said,
"There are no people here".

My heart just went C L U N K when I heard that. I cannot IMAGINE an empty town. I cannot IMAGINE what it feels like to gather some of your stuff and put it in the car and back down your driveway and leave your house and your town and maybe your state.

I cannot imagine.
