I love these towels.

I bought them last year from LLBean.

I bought 6 and I wish I had 6 more.
Towel

I was looking out my backdoor and saw it just rustling a little in the afternoon breeze.
Matt had used it a few days ago, swimming at Lynnette’s with his cousin.
He’s in school now, and the towel is looking a little lonely.

Summer is winding down.
Megan is in her last week of her internship at KFAB
and is starting to pack for going back to college. She will have a roommate this year.
I hope that goes will.

Matt is starting early morning band practices. They start at 7 a.m.
He doesn’t mind getting up…..well, not too much.

I’m getting ready for a party Tuesday night for Lynnette and Nina.
It’ll be just family.
I made potato salad and cakes tonight.
Tomorrow, I get the back yard ready and make the hamburger patties.
I’ve got a meeting in the afternoon, so I need to do it all in the morning.

I’ve been a "host mom" for a few days!
Maiki and Hiroko are Japanese Boy Scouts and part of a troop who are visiting Omaha and the US for about 10 days.

These boys are a HOOT!

Their personalities are just like these faces.

I only wish we could have "spoken" better with each other.

She is 88 today.
Edna

She looks and acts MUCH younger!
She is doing well and has a great attitude.
We all went over and had peach pie complete with a candle and we gave her a present of all of us in Moscow. I think she really liked that gift.

The Nathans are leaving Sunday to go back to Moscow until Christmas.

We are getting two Japanese Boy Scouts on Saturday afternoon to stay with us until Monday.
I have alot of cleaning to do before we pick them up.

And I’m not feeling very well this evening.

…and he’s sort of excited. Got a new shirt and jeans from American Eagle.
New shoes this year, too.
Not tennis shoes, but more like brown bowling shoes.
He uses the same backpack, though, for many years.

PiedayI  KNOW some of them work all year JUST for this day. The day I bring Peach Pie.

They are all so nice and fun.

I’m going to make them another pie this week.
